The Town's Fourth of July celebration starts Monday at 10AM with our annual parade, followed by Family Fun Day events from 11AM to 3PM in El Prado Park. There will be a waterslide for kids, fire truck demonstrations and hot dogs, lemonade and other kid-friendly food. The Town's 20-minute fireworks show starts at 9PM and will be shot off the beach just north of El Prado Park. The Broward Sheriff's Office is advising all Town residents to either walk or ride a bike over to the beach for the fireworks, because traffic after the show will be extremely heavy. The free Pelican Hopper shuttle will operate in Town until midnight. This year's parade Grand Marshal is long-time resident Dick Clark. More details are available in Town Topics and online at
